R. Kelly appeared in court in Brooklyn yesterday (July 8th) and his trial on racketeering and sex crimes has been pushed back to August 18th. According to Page Six, Judge Ann Donnelly set the new trial date to allow for Kelly to review materials with his new legal team.
Kelly's attorneys asked that he be released on bail but he was denied and ordered to stay in jail until his trial begins.
