BEYONCE AND JAY Z SUED OVER 'BLACK EFFECT' VOCALS: Beyonce and Jay Z are being sued by Dr. L'Antoinette Stines, a Jamaican artist, who claims that the superstar couple never gave her proper credit or compensation for using her vocals on their 2018 song "Black Effect" from their Everything Is Love album. According to TMZ, she claimed that the Carters sought her out in March 2018 to provide dancers for a video promoting their upcoming tour. In her lawsuit, which was filed yesterday (June 16th) in federal court, Dr. Stines said she provided the couple with the dancers. She said that then Jay and Bey wanted to record her views on love. She claims she was told the interview would be used in the video … "for promotional purposes" only. She said she was shocked when she heard "Black Effect" and she feels "artistically raped." Dr. Stines is suing the couple for copyright infringement and violation of her right to publicity and damages. She also wants writing credit.
ANITA BAKER RECALLS BEING TICKETED FOR CALLING THE COPS FOR BEING STALKED: R&B legend Anita Baker took to Twitter to reveal that she once called the cops after being stalked by two white men for an entire summer — and she was the one who ended up being ticketed. Baker tweeted that for three days, two men followed her from her hotel to the peformance venues insisting that she sign their album cover. The men claimed that they loved her but she said, “That’s Not love. Stalking is a crime. #Boundaries #Strangers.” Then, things escalated where one of the men tried to enter her home. As a result, Baker said she tried to obtain a concealed weapon. The man that tried to break into her home wasn't charged and Baker was ticketed by cops. She said that although this happened years ago "But, the query is the same?…Who can you call when those designated to help you, actually abuse you?” She added, “Everyone has a story re: the system and how it fails the same demographic, over and over. No one is immune. Things happen to us all…Question is #WhoYaGonCall?”

They announced they were in a relationship 11 days after she turned 18 last october, and now comments on the pdfile's insta are limited." One person responded, "Y’all remember when Raz B, former member of B2K, accused Marques of molesting him and was as a result made a laughing stock? I do."
