BEYONCE DOES CORNY JOKE TIME FOR HER MOM'S WACO GALA: Beyonce took the time to do corny joke time for her mom Tina Lawson's virtual WACO Wearable Art Gala, and Blue Ivy didn't really appreciate it. Beyonce said, "Why does Snoop Dogg need an umbrella?" She responded, "'For the drizzle." Blue Ivy put her hand over her mom's mouth and told her to stop. Later, Beyonce's mom came on and told her to "put on some makeup and get in some good light and stuff." Beyonce later delivered the same joke in full on glam. Her little sister Solange also did her own corny joke time video.

RIHANNA FANS NOMINATE HER TO REPLACE QUEEN ELIZABETH II AS BARBADOS' HEAD OF STATE: Rihanna's fans took to social media this weekend  to nominate her to become the head of state in Barbados. The country anounced tha they will no longer be under the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth. According to Elle, RiRi is currently " an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, with specific responsibility for promoting education, tourism and investment for the island." Rihanna has been one of Barbados’ cultural ambassadors since 2008."

ALICIA KEYS ALMOST GAVE 'IF I AIN'T GOT YOU' TO CHRISTINA AGUILERA: In an interview with Stereogum, Alicia Keys revealed that she almost gave Christina Aguilera her hit song "If I Ain't Got You." She explained, "I think we were on the same label at the time. She reached out and was like, ‘Would you write something for me?’ I remember I had just recently written ‘If I Ain’t Got You.'” She continued, “I told my A&R at the time, “Let’s play her ‘If I Ain’t Got You.’ He said, ‘Are you crazy? We’re not giving her that song. Are you out of your mind?’ I was like ‘Why not? I’ll write a hundred more of those, it’s fine. But I thought, ‘Fine, I’ll go write another song.’ So I went off and wrote ‘Impossible.’ I went to cut it with her and I love how she sounded on it. It was such a cool vibe for us to be able to work together during those times. But I will never forget that I would have given away ‘If I Ain’t Got You.’ The song went on to win a Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.

BRANDY RESPONDS TO THEA VIDALE: 'SHE'S A LITTLE BITTER': In a recent interview, Brandy has responded to actress Thea Vidale, who recently said that Brandy and her mom gave her a bit of "disrespect" when they worked on her 90's sitcom Thea. Brandy responded, saying,  “She didn’t have an altercation. I would just have to say that Thea didn’t really treat me the way that I deserved to be treated. I was a child. I respected her and I loved being on her show. I felt like that was the stepping stone to get to my music career.” She continued, “I think that maybe she’s just a little bit bitter, because I haven’t seen her do a lot since then. So I think it was just a way to get attention. I honestly believe that. She needs a little love right now.”

THE EMOTIONS SINGER PAMELA HUTCHINSON DEAD AT 61:  According to TMZ, Pamela Hutchinson, one of the singers of the legendary family group The Emotions died on Friday (September 18th). She was 61. The news was announced yesterday (September 20th) on the official Facebook page for the R&B group, saying that Hutchinson had been battling health issues for years. They said in a statement,  “Now our beautiful sister will sing amongst the angels in heaven in perfect peace. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. We love you, Pamela!”
