MINISTER WHO OFFCIATED R. KELLY AND AALIYAH'S WEDDING SPEAKS: Nathan Edmond, the minister that married R. Kelly and Aaliyah in 1994 testified at R. Kelly's trial. According to The New York Post, Edmond said that Kelly and Aaliyah got married in a hotel suite and wore "matching jogging suits." He said he officiated the nuptials as a favor to a friend and didn't now who the performers were. He said, "I didn’t think it was anyone special and I didn’t understand it at all."
