RIHANNA TO OPEN SAVAGE X FENTY RETAIL STORES NEXT YEAR: Rihanna is set to open Savage X Fenty retail stores as soon as next year. In an interview with Bloomberg, co-president and chief marketing and design officer Christiane Pendarvis said that the locations will initially be in the U.S. but the company is "absolutely having conversations around what does that expansion potentially look like in the EU [European Union]."
NICCI GILBERT OPENS UP ABOUT KELLY PRICE DRAMA: Brownstone singer Nicci Gilbert opened up about drama surrounding Kelly Price. Price was reported missing last month. She later went on TMZ and clarified that she wasn't missing and was recovering from COVID-19. During an episode of The Real, Nicci explained that she started being concerned about Kelly when Brownstone was asked to fill in for her on a few concert dates. After not hearing from Kelly, she called Kelly's daughter. Nicci explained, “She shared a lot of information with me that caused alarm for me as someone who loved Kelly and who is her friend. And unfortunately, her daughter just didn’t know what to do. She didn’t know where to turn, she felt like there weren’t a lot of people she could trust. She knew that my organization did advocacy for missing women and girls, she knew that her mother and I had a great relationship. So I referred her to some resources to privately check on her mother, which she did.” She continued, “I believe her family was genuinely concerned about her. Not getting into the family dynamics, but I truly believe they were concerned. [They] said ‘Please advocate, nobody else is helping us. She’s on the missing person's list, we need to amplify this message. We know this is what you do–please help us.'”
SUMMER WALKER ANNOUNCES 'STILL OVER IT' ALBUM: Summer Walker has announced that her new album Still Over It is due out next month. The singer released a trailer that featured her on the phone with City Girls rapper JT, who is incarcerated. Still Over It is out on November 5th.
