TYRA BANKS DRAGGED FOR OLD 'ANTM' CLIP: Tyra Banks got dragged on social media yesterday (May 5th) after old clips of her critiquing contestants on America's Next Top Model surfaced online. in one clip, Banks encouraged Cycle 6 winner Danielle Evans to have her gap closed. Tyra told Danielle, “Do you really think you can have a Cover Girl contract with a gap in your mouth?” Danielle asked, “Why not?” Tyra responded, “It’s not marketable.” E! personality Nina Parker commented on the clip, saying, “I remember watching this as a young woman & I felt extremely discouraged to be on TV bc of this scene. I was disappointed in Tyra then… She ended up pressuring this girl to get dental surgery to be 'marketable.' Also my gap & TV contract say HI!”
VIVICA A. FOX IS STILL NOT HERE FOR KENYA MOORE: During an appearance on Claudia Jordan's Fox Soul show, Vivica A. Fox made it clear that she will never be friends with RHOA star Kenya Moore again. APRYL JONES SPEAKS ON HER SPLIT WITH OMARION: Apryl Jones has opened up about her split from singer Omarion. The Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood star — who is now single, told Voyage LA, “I was in a really terrible space 2016, where I had just had my second child, and my son was only one at the time, and I was going through a terrible breakup with their father. He decided to leave without explanation and I was forced to have to pick up the pieces of my life. I went back to work doing what I graduated school with which was radiation science…I was presented with a great opportunity to start my own wine by branding with a winery in Temecula, CA.” She continued, “I had numerous amounts of days where I wanted to give up going through court stuff, dealing with being the only one here in Los Angeles with no family or support, being forced to have to move into a space with two little kids with no explanation because my partner decided he didn’t want his family anymore. Having to do all these things that created anxiety, fear, etc. But again I pushed through I didn’t play victim. I didn’t make excuses. I put my wit into creating and motivating myself.”
CYNTHIA BAILEY IS NOT BEING REPLACED BY PHAEDRA PARKS ON 'RHOA': Cynthia Bailey has turned down reports that she is being replaced by Phaedra Parks for the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. She told The Shade Room in a statement, “I have no plans to leave RHOA at this time. Every year there are rumors saying that I am getting fired, or not returning. I’ve been a peach holder consistently for 10 years now. I love my cast, and my Bravo family. I am looking forward to next season.” Cynthia also denied rumors that she is being offered a “reduced role,” saying “That is completely false. We just recently filmed the reunion, and have not started contract negotiations yet.”
