In an interview with the Chicago Sun Times, Jacob Blake's father revealed that his son was handcuffed to the hospital bed. Blake's father, whose name is also Jacob Blake, said, “I hate it that he was laying in that bed with the handcuff onto the bed. He can’t go anywhere. Why do you have him cuffed to the bed?”
Blake is reportedly paralyzed from the waist down.
Meanwhile, Blake's uncle says that Blake's children, who were in the car when he was shot by officer Rusten Sheskey, are traumatized by what happened to their dad.
Justin Blake told TMZ that his nephew's children are in “desperate need of professional help.”
Blake's family is reportedly seeking professional help. Justin also said that the children have yet to visit their dad in the hospital because it would be “too traumatic.”
