Two of Shia LaBeouf’s former girlfriends are speaking out about his abusive behavior.

The New York Times reported Friday (December 11th) that FKA twigs filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles stating that LaBeouf abused her physically, emotionally, and mentally during their brief relationship.

According to the lawsuit, the actor put both of their lives in danger one night in February 2019. He was driving recklessly without a seatbelt and threatening to crash unless she said she loved him. When he finally let her out of the car at a gas station, he followed her and threw her against the car while screaming in her face.

FKA said in the suit that this all occurred on the way home from a trip where he woke her up in the middle of the night choking her.

The Transformers actor is also accused of knowingly giving FKA a sexually transmitted disease.

LaBeouf told The Times in an email, “I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say.”

Sia also spoke out about the actor. The singer retweeted the New York Times article about FKA's’ lawsuit and wrote, “I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single. I believe he's very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away.”
