THREE OFFICERS INVOLVED IN ELIJAH MCCLAIN'S DEATH TAKEN OFF OF STREET DUTY: According to CNN, the three Colorado officers involved in Elijah McClain's death have been taken off of street duty. Officers Jason Rosenblatt, Randy Roedema and Nathan Woodyard have been reassigned to “nonenforcement duties.” Faith Goodrich, spokeswoman for the Aurora Police Department, said that the officers were taken off of street duty for their safety due to the department receiving threats recently. As previously reported, on August 24th, 2019, McClain was stopped on the street after cops received a call about a suspicious person who was wearing a mask. McClain often wore masks because he was always cold due to anemia. He was placed into a chokehold and given a sedative. He suffered cardiac arrested on the way to the hospital and was declared brain dead on August 27th. (Madamenoire)
